Today is Giving Tuesday. To honor the spirit of the day, NLT has made a charitable donation to its longstanding friends in the community: SOME.org and VETsports.org.
SOME (So Others Might Eat) is a D.C.-based non-profit that helps the poor and homeless living in the nation’s capital. They work to provide for daily needs of their client, including food, clothing, and healthcare. VETSports is a community organization that facilitates combat veterans’ reintegration into their communities by giving them continued access to community Service, events, and partnership opportunities. An active relationship with a community through sports and physical activity has shown to improve each veteran’s physical, mental, and emotional health.
