New Light Technologies (NLT) is excited to continue our long-standing support of So Others Might Eat (SOME) by sponsoring this year’s Trot for Hunger event at an increased Advocate Sponsor level. This marks over a decade of partnership with SOME, during which we've been proud to contribute to their mission of providing essential services, including food, housing, healthcare, and job training, to those in need in Washington, DC.
The Trot for Hunger is a beloved Thanksgiving morning tradition, and we’re thrilled to return to Freedom Plaza on November 28, 2024, with greater backing than ever before. Our increased sponsorship reflects our ongoing commitment to SOME’s vital work and our dedication to supporting the communities where we live and operate. As an Advocate Sponsor, NLT has expanded its support to ensure that SOME has the resources necessary to impact more lives across the city.
For over 10 years, NLT has been a SOME sponsor and advocate, participating in various initiatives and contributing at various levels, from Gold and lower levels to now, with our enhanced role as Advocate Sponsor. By increasing our sponsorship, we aim to deepen our support for SOME’s comprehensive services, which touch thousands of lives annually and align closely with NLT's core values of service, equality, and community responsibility.
In addition to our sponsorship, we’re aiming to raise $5,000 this season to further support SOME’s mission, and we invite the NLT community to help us reach this goal!
