NLT Becomes Flock Safety Value Added Reseller and Installation Partner

Flock Safety has selected New Light Technologies (NLT) to be its preferred partner in the DC Metropolitan Area to support its public sector offerings.

Flock Safety’s Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) system is a trusted tool for public safety teams and homeowner associations alike. The ALPR system pairs secure image-capture technology with a proprietary machine learning algorithm that identifies motor vehicle fingerprints such as license plates, vehicle type, and color. Flock’s tool is able to read vehicle license plates on cars traveling up to 75 MPH, during both the day- and night-time, and it can catch distances up to 75 feet away. All captured footage is easily retrievable from the cloud through both desktop or mobile devices, which is enhanced with strong privacy protection measures guarding your data.

NLT is thrilled to support Flock in their ALPR product. Our background in end-to-end public safety systems services includes everything from deploying workstations in vehicles to emergency operations center analytics and response support. NLT’s wealth of experience in public safety information systems makes us natural partners.

“This is yet another opportunity for NLT to add value to our customers in the public sector,” Ghermay Araya, NLT CEO, said, “both in terms of visibility and evidence based response capabilities to our customers.”
