ZOLTAN WOLF

Senior Data Scientist

Zoltan Wolf is a Senior Data Scientist with New Light Technologies. He works as an economist at the Collaborative Micro-Productivity project (CMP) with the Center of Economic Sciences at the U.S. Census Bureau. His contribution to CMP is to create, implement and oversee the analytical and micro-econometric frameworks.

The CMP’s objective is to establish the theoretical and econometric background for measuring productivity differences across establishments within an industry. In the future, it will make recommendations for the appropriate statistics to be published by the Census Bureau and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Some of the results already obtained within CMP have been published in peer-reviewed journals.

Zolton is an econometrician by training and holds a doctorate in economics. He completed his Ph.D. at the VU University Amsterdam in 2011. In addition, he has an MSc. in Finance, and MPhil. in Macroeconomics and Econometrics.
