ROBERT PITTS

Program Manager and Senior Consultant

Robert Pitts is the Executive Vice President for NLT and is responsible for overseeing the firm’s delivery of innovative scientific, technological, and research solutions to a variety of clients across the government and commercial sectors. Robert serves as senior program manager of multiple large federal IT, DevOps, Analytics, and R&D contracts including with FEMA, U.S. Census Bureau, USDA among others.

Robert has extensive experience building and managing enterprise Geospatial Information Systems and is a leading expert in large data integration and visualization, real-time disaster response applications, and agile project management.

Robert received his Master’s degree in Geographic Information Science from Edinburgh University (UK) and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Denver. Robert is also a Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) and Project Management Professional (PMP). Robert’s commitment to geography education and community outreach extends beyond NLT to the University of Maryland where he is an adjunct instructor.

When Robert isn’t supporting his clients and staff, you can find him playing guitar or looking for a great beach to surf.
