JOHN VARELA

John Varela is an Application Developer with NLT.  He’s currently supporting NLT customers as a front-end developer focusing on telecom and utility products

John has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Georgia Tech. Prior to working at NLT, He was a software developer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and before that, he was an undergrad researcher at a Georgia Tech lab researching augmented reality.

In his spare time, he plays guitar, which he started learning almost 15 years ago. He mostly plays a mix of rock and jazz along with a few classical pieces that he was able to learn on his own.
