Senior GIS Developer

Burton has been a developer with New Light since July 2012 working primarily with DCNET and Utility LINE. He is the lead front-end developer for SNAP, provisional VSS and VM Network Administrator, and part of the DCNET OSS Team GIS Support Service. He’s also worked with DC ZONING as a front-end and middle-tier web developer. There he helped create the CSS rules for the front-end, develop code to create reports on demand, and support other team members in debugging their code when required.

He previously worked with Robert Half Technologies as a consultant on various front-end, middle-tier, and mobile projects, and he specializes in Sencha, Ionic, JavaScript, Java, Drupal, Moodle, MODX, WordPress, and the Adobe master suite. He graduated with a BFA from George Mason University in Graphic Design.
