Geospatial Intelligence

New Light Technologies (NLT) is a trailblazer in the field of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), who uses a multi-disciplined approach and multifaceted staff to solve complex problems. GEOINT is the description, assessment, and visual depiction of physical features and geographically referenced activities on the earth using the analysis of imagery and geospatial information. Our scientists are seasoned GEOINT professionals who bring both a theoretical and practical  mastery of the entire GEOINT lifecycle including Data Collection, Data Exploitation, Production, Dissemination and Storage.

NLT GEOINT scientists analyze  imagery from an incredible array of different sources to derive intelligence and situational awareness about the mission and task at hand. This work includes using statistical data, remote sensing, mapping, surveying technologies, charting, geodetic data, and other related products.

The NLT team leverages its vast amount of resources to exploit data by thinking creatively about what lies just underneath the surface of incredibly byzantine datasets. Whether they are reaching these depths through rigorous and cutting edge methods or by using state of the art technology, NLT will always exceed customer expectations by providing the utmost valuable information.

NLT GEOINT scientists peruse  images and photographs from satellites, airborne platforms, unmanned aerial vehicles, or other similar means in their development of technical, geographic, and intelligence information. They might be looking for a more immediate understanding of the situation on the ground, but are often also looking at data with an eye toward pattern analysis. Data becomes more valuable with age, because it can be meshed  with more recent datasets to decipher changes in social behavior, organizational movement, or common travel routes. Pattern analysis helps entities understand people, places and things in a more fluid manner. The purpose of pattern analysis, is so that entities become proactive and reactive, to ensure the success of any mission.

We develop the proper procedures and systems to handle and disseminate classified products. Because information security is just as important as the product itself. Mishandling or improper dissemination means there could be a spillage of classified information, and that can lead to serious complications. We make it our highest priority to consistently measure the safety of information systems by conducting periodic penetration testing and systems patching to improve performance.

Decision-makers depend on the work of NLT subject matter experts (SMEs) in order to make better, well-grounded decisions. It is up to our SMEs to create visual aids that will best represent their findings and analytics, to ensure that key leaders will interpret the information as intended. They need to be clear, concise, precise and accurate every single time.

Ultimately, when it comes to GEOINT, lives are at stake, and, for that, we will always exceed customer expectations.
