United States Department of Homeland Security

NLT worked with DHS and the district of Columbia to develop a proof of concept prototype demonstrating how geospatial data could be shared in real-time between DHS and the DC Government to support planning responses during emergencies. The prototype enabled rapid bidirectional exchange of geospatial information between the DHS National Operations Center and the DC Emergency Operations Center for a large event in the DC area.

NLT also provided data analysis, simulation, and visualization support to the Office of Intelligence, Immigration and Customs Enforcement examining complex spatial patterns of various types of criminal activity including financial crimes and identifying links between suspicious locations and distances travelled to commit a crime among others.
