Flagstaff AZ Fire Department

NLT provided consulting and technical support services to the Flagstaff AZ Fire Department to evaluate the city’s placement of stations within services areas and to make recommendations on any optimizations or changes. To provide this, NLT conducted a detailed study of the locations of stations within the city including a spatial analysis to determine the optimal locations for stations to serve the most customers. This work included evaluating the department’s ability to meet different response time requirements and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1710 standards. Ultimately, the updated study allowed for informed recommendations on the best level and configuration of fire department resources in the city.
