NLT Put the Giving in Thanksgiving this year at SOME's 11th Annual Trot for Hunger
Did you know 1 out of 5 D.C. residents live at or below the poverty line?
For the past five years, New Light Technologies has made yearly donations to So Others Might Eat (SOME), an organization that provides the necessary resources to help DC's homeless and poor get off the streets, around its annual Thanksgiving Day Trot for Hunger. This year NLT took it a step further. Our dedicated staff formed a virtual team that participated in the 11th Annual Thanksgiving Day Trot for Hunger online fundraiser. They weren't the only ones joined in the act of giving back; 10,000 people from around the country also participated. NLT made sure to walk, or rather trot, the talk.
As a Washington, D.C. 8(a) company and SDB business and registered with local small business programs in the National Capital Region (DC, Maryland, and Delaware), NLT believes in supporting the DC area community and helping its local patrons.
