Data Architect

Location: Washington, DC

New Light Technologies is seeking a Data Architect to work with stakeholders to build a holistic view of the organization’s strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets, to ensure that the business and IT are in alignment. The position will work across organizational and computing “silos” to drive common approaches and expose information assets and processes across the enterprise. The Architect will optimize information management approaches through an understanding of evolving business needs and technology capabilities, provide long-term strategic responsibility for the company’s IT systems and promote the shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows to ensure that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies, Internet applications and development, software development, and related fields. Architect will also fully document the processes and procedures for data manipulation to include data interfaces both external and internal, transformation procedures and targets and reporting requirements.

 

PeopleSoft Quality Assurance Tester Level 3

Location: Washington, DC

The PeopleSoft Functional Tester has strong of knowledge in quality assurance, release management, testing and provides advanced system testing support for the new PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 application, interfaces with external systems, and reporting. Can perform quality testing and lead user acceptance testing using PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF). The functional tester will be able to write a test plan based upon requirements, develop test scripts, perform testing, and assist in the training of end users or testers and will have deep knowledge in software testing methodology and the system development life cycle. Participation in design specification reviews and technical documentation reviews is essential to performing these duties. Also, the applicant will create testing and performance summary reports clearly communicating to management all testing results. Finally, the tester will help prioritize defects to be fixed using an understanding of the business requirements and the needs of the customer.

 

Business Analyst Consultant Level 5

Location: Washington, DC

This SAM Specialist role is to manage the client’s Software Environment and help customers understand and utilize software licenses and agreements. The SAM Specialist will utilize Microsoft best practice, procedures and tools to track and control all software purchases and installations and manage associated software compliance legal and financial risks. Mainly responsible maintaining Microsoft software license agreements, managing Software Assurance Benefits and compliance based on software license right-to-use (RTU) using SNOW software asset management solution.
