Mobile GIS Street Asset Management System

The Golden Triangle Business Improvement District (GTBID) is a non‐profit organization established to supplement city and government services. GTBID implemented a mobile GIS street asset management system to better support their customer needs, services, and assets. NLT assisted by providing an ESRI-based ArcGIS solution using ArcGIS Desktop 9.1 and ArcPad 7. Initial data development was accomplished through partnerships with local organizations, including DC GIS, the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (MWCOG), and the Downtown Business Improvement District (DBID). NLT developed data collection and processing procedures to support the dynamic conditions of a real-world environment.
