NLT has been awarded the latest 8(a) STARS II, a small business set-aside GWAC, which provides flexible access to customized IT solutions from a large, diverse pool of 8(a) industry partners. With a $10 billion program ceiling and a five-year base period with one five-year option, 8(a) STARS II allows for long-term planning of large-scale program requirements while strengthening opportunities for 8(a) small businesses.
This contract vehicle will allow NLT to strategically grow its Federal Government business over the next several years. The key aspect of this GSA GWAC is that there is a pre-negotiated schedule of labor categories and rates which can be used in directed purchases of upto $4 million per contract without the need for "Sole-Source Justitifcation". This expedites the contracting process for small business. More details on the contract vehicle will be posted on NLT's contract vehicle page in the coming weeks. However details from the GSA can found at GSA website: http://www.gsa.gov/portal/content/105243
