OnTheMap for Emergency Management Version 3 was released June 15 2012.The public data tool provides an easy-to-use web-based interface for accessing U.S. population and workforce statistics, in real time, for areas being affected by natural disasters.The tool allows users to easily retrieve reports containing detailed workforce, population, and housing characteristics for hurricanes, floods, wildfires, winter storms, and federal disaster declaration areas.

New Light Technologies (NLT) team provides Application Design, Testing & Implementation, Project Management, and Marketing & Outreach consulting services to the Census Bureau in support of the development of the OnTheMap for Emergency Management tool.
